Here is a small gallery of the Undertakers Office I made from one of the very good Sarissa Precision kits. I modified it slightly by adding a solid door, made from card strips glued to a piece of 2mm MDF, and lifting the main building by adding some 4mm square section of balsa wood. I also trimmed the main building base to be flush with the building walls. The side extension was scratch built from coffee stirrers, and the roof of the main building was made the same. The roof of the extension was made from card shingles I cut and glued onto a piece of styrene. The interior furniture and exterior bits are a mixture of 1:48 dolls house furniture, some 28mm scale furniture, bits from Frontline Wargaming, Dixon miniatures, and S and D models. Then I finished the model by gluing it onto a piece of 3mm MDF. I like finishing buildings in this manner as it allows the use of clutter to give a more visual interest to the model.
I hope you like the pictures....
